If you try to build a package in gentoo and the build fails as aresult of an error, how can the remnants be cleaned off the system? This happened on gnopernicus-1.0.4 and if I do get another later version downloaded in the future unless the present mess is cleared off the system I'll likely not be able to do the new download.
