debian installation issues-please help

Hello,
I'm going to be going out of town Friday morning, and need a resolution for this ASAP, because I need linux for storage, among other things.
I need to install it on a comp I have sitting here. When I pop in the cd, I go through all the basic prompts, and then hit an error...
The error basically informs me that the cd drive can't be mounted. I hit try again, and it still shows the same error. Would anyone happen to have any idea on how to fix this?
