Hello all,

My friend Ace had a question about USB storage last week. The symptoms of the problem are that the device is named and enumerated, but mount, ETC give errors that, e.g. /dev/sda1 does not exist. The problem is that, apparently, something in Slackware 10.2's udev package is broken. So if you're experiencing this problem, download the version from 10.1, it's in the "a" series.

HTH,
Garrett
