editors for e-links and L I N KS?

Greetings all,
I wanted to aim for specificity in my subject.  While one can use editors 
like pico with lynx as in the cat, I have as of yet not seen the same 
usage for the Java script browsers e-links or links.  Does anyone know if 
editors can be configured to work with them in a like fashion as with 
lynx?  By which I mean giving you the text editor and spell check options 
when sending comments and writing information in edit windows using those 
browsers?
