Updating to Fedora Core 5

Wil,

A few things to remember when doing the yum approach is:
- Do not skip major versions.
So, you need to go from 3 to 4 and then to 5.

- I believe that the speakup-modified kernels are available through a
yum repository, but you will need to set up the .repo file to grab them.

- the first 2 things to upgrade are the fedora-release and yum packages.
The fedora-release package needs to be upgraded manually using rpm.
Then you do a yum update yum.
Then you can start the upgrade process.

Good luck, and I can be called on if you have questions.
