Finally installed Wine but there are problems

Ok, believe it or not, I still have Janina's post on this, looks like
I too was smart enough to keep it in a file all these years (grin). Going by
the date and thread in that post, it was a snap locating it in the
archives. So, the URL describing what I've been calling the xv hack,
though calling it the xvfb hack would have been more appropriate is:

Note that I never used the first method described here, only the
second method, but I don't see why the first method shouldn't work
also.
