No, the box that said program is running on needs to have x
installed. The point of the xv hack is to be able to run an x program
from the text console, while still providing it with a display to
connect to. Let me see if I still have Janina's post on the topic here
somewhere, and if I do, instead of reposting it, I'll locate it in the
archives, and provide the URL to that post.
