Also, if you have to have a laptop, you could maybe find a rent-a-center
from which you can lease one.
I looked into this once, and I believe it was going to be about 50 dollars
per week.
You could run GRML on it, from a CD.

Perhaps you could put Oralux on a CD and then go to your local computer
store and see if a laptop would come up talking. Unfortunately, you would
be paying for Windows etc. There might be some small companies that would
sell you a laptop with Linux preinstalled, but I don't know what they are.
