ot.. about mp3 players

If you are just interested in mp3 or maybe even e-text then I would
recommend the bookport by APH.  The only drawback I see with it is
it's inability to play ogg/vorbis.  It certainly has a long battery
life and absolutely everything is spoken.  It even has a note taker
built in.  It is more expensive than the inexpensive mp3 players but
is competitive with the high end players.  The nice thing about the
bookport is that is uses the DoubleTalk chip set so you don't have the
multichannel problem you do with the units that use the audio chip for
both playing mp3s and menu options.  In my opinion it is a nice little
unit.
