File Entry Fields in Lynx

I've actually been able to submit forms with a file attached using lynx. 
The problem is lynx can't handle an empty file entry field.


The only fix I've been able to find is to disable file upload support and 
recompile lynx. But of course lynx will ignore file entry fields 
altogether.
