File Entry Fields in Lynx

OK, so I look at the source for this web page and see all kinds of
javascript and animations wanting to start. Doesn't look like a lynx the
cat kind of form.

Now, the underlying problem, why the heck can't one just attach a file
to one's email? Seems like a roundabout way to do something for which
there's a simpler, more direct option.

By the way, www.yousendit.com seems to have no good explanation for why
they exist, either.
