Well, actually I like zinf and haven't had nearly the problems you have but I can't say why. I do have aoss but yes I may have to put oss back in. What I'm trying to do is get my intel to do as much playing as possible without getting tied up everytime I try to play two sound sources. Aoss does seem to have helped with this.
