You are not taking the entire name into consideration. 

In the message that you replied to, I listed the latest kernels, so you
should have no confusion as to which kernels to use.
Go back and read your last message, and you will find the answer to your
question as to which is the latest kernel for you to use.
 
You appear to be mixing kernel-2.6.10 with kernel-2.6.11. 
Yes, 700 is greater then 1.4, but 2.6.11 is greater then 2.6.10. 
You need to pay attention to the entire file name when determining the
program and version.
