emacspeak and fc2 problems

Have you got emacspeakconfigure program on your system?  If so, now that 
eflite is installed run that program again and emacspeak may find eflite. 
If that's not present check to see if you have something like 
emacspeak.setup and run that script.  If you mentioned the version number 
over on emacspeak list that's probably what ticked T.V. off.  I may try 
upgrading emacspeak to current version to see if it will even continue to 
speak using eflite on this system but that's a back burner project for the 
moment.
