There is no key defined in the laptop layout for turning off the
cursoring -- I would be curious as to why anyone would need this with
recent versions of speakup.
As to different logins having different settings, just put things in
your .bash_profile to echo things to files in /proc/speakup and note
that these are global so -- and I guess this would be true -- that the
two logins are not logged in at the same time.
