bookshare revisited? Re: bookshare.org unpack (fwd)

Thanks, Karen. The answer you got from Ken makes plenty of sense.

I have emailed my suggestion to BookShare using my formal capacity as a
member of their Advisory Committee. I do not yet have an answer--but it
may be that people are on vacation. I don't know. I do expect to get an
answer eventually.

Ken is undoubtedly correct. Since no source is available, he's powerless
to do more on his own. He's running BSD, not Linux, so a Linux tool
might, or more likely would not work. It seems simply using the tool
compiled for Linux doesn't work on BSD.

So, if BookShare agrees with my suggestion, I'm sure we can take this to
the next step. Meanwhile, we should just wait for their reply.
