harmless buttons

That wouldn't apply in this case because the form doesn't have any other
controls on it.  I read about what you were referring to but I think
that is so you can hit enter on an edit control and have the form
automatically submit.  I also ran into this on a blog page of mine where
they had several submit buttons on the form; some were real active
buttons that worked and others were this "harmless" variety.  I wonder
if they are some unsupported javascript functions or something.  I think
it should be something other than harmless; perhaps "null" or
"ineffective" or "unsupported" or something.
