The advantage of running a mixed distribution is that some packages are
not found in stable at all but are foound in testing or unstable. If you
have everything locked onto stable, bastille is something that will never
show up in your available list for download. The problems I'm having with
bastille occur in all versions of linux I've tried so far that talk
they're not restricted to debian.
I read about bastille being available for debian on
http://www.bastille-project.org and wouldn't have tried a mixed
distribution if it had been found in the stable section at least not this
soon out of the box anyway.
