Success with newest Speakup and Dectalk Express

I am happy to report that I just successfully built and ran a 2.6.14.4

kernel patched with the latest Speakup from CVS.  This was compiling
with 
gcc 3 and using a Dectalk Express so both the previous issues I'd seen

would appear to be squashed.
