OT: Midi sequencers?

I use a software midi player called timidity
<http://www.goice.co.jp/member/mo/timidity/>. It converts the midi
file to wav, and plays that through your sound card like any other wav
file. If you're looking for a
hardware one, that uses the sound card's midi directly, then I'm afraid I don't know of any.
