mp3 files terminate too soon with realplayer

Hi Mike. Ann is correct. There is a bug in the realplayer7 and 8
libraries which causes the timing position to advance an extra five
seconds per half hour. So if you are listening to a ninety minute file,
you'll loose about 15 seconds at the end of the file. Some of used to
add about 20 seconds of silence at the end of files in order to
compensate for this. But trplayer is no longer supported by anyone, so
as Ann says, the best solution is to install zinf, which has really nice
navigation features. They aren't quite as nice as the ones in trplayer,
but You'll get used to them quickly enough, and they mimic most of the
features found in trplayer. Alternatively, you could install mplayer,
which plays a wide variety of audio and video formats. But I don't like
it's navigation layout nearly as well.
