The order in which you have mailboxes listed with the mailboxes command
is the order they will be checked when you do c and press space to cycle
through boxes with new mail. For example i have
mailboxes +.speakup/ +.blinux/
Etc. This lists the boxes in whatever order I like. The + is a shorthand
for whatever $folder is defined as and you can add ! to the mailboxes
list if your $spoolfile is different from $folder. I am using a maildir
setup here which works with courier-imapd so that is the reason for the
extra periods and slashes.
