Well, I don't know enough about this application or how it works to
answer you. Nor are you giving enough data.
If this is some kind of stand-alone app--then you can certainly execute
it after booting from some kind of boot media (like a floppy, cd rom, or
usb stick). If, however, it somehow integrates itself into the Linux
kernel, or refuses to execute except when it sees a kernel it
recognizes, then you'll have to build yourself boot media that you have
patched to include Speakup, I'm afraid.
Does it support any kind of external control? Can you ssh to the box you
boot with this application?
Or, is this application assuming each and every machine you will use it
on comes equipped with monitor and keyboard. Not very realistic,
actually, if that's the case.
