recording cd's on a 2.6 kernel

no worries dude, got it to work, when I tried it, I'd been up a while, 
and booted my old 2.4 kernel, it didn't like that, but it works fine on 
the new kernel, and no scsi emulation.  Thanks for all the help... 
that's what happens when one runs out of Mountain Dew!
