What command are you using to envoke cdrecord? On my system, (Debian Sid kernel
2.6.12-1-k7, 2 CD burners), both
cdrecord -dev=/dev/hdc <files>
and
cdrecord -dev=ATA:1,0,0 <files>
work with no trouble. I just haven't figured out why cdrecord won't run suid
root so that anyone in group cdrom can use it. At this point it only works if I
envoke it using sudo. But the configuration says that if I set the binaries
suid root I can use it as a member of cdrom. Is this a 2.4 thing?
