Oh.  I almost forgott.  Probably a better choice for RealMedia files is mplayer.

It is available through apt-get by adding

deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ testing main

to your /etc/apt/sources.list.  Or if you have upgraded to unstable, add

deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ unstable main

Mplayer will play RealMedia audio and video as well as mp3, ogg, aac and many
other formats.
