Bug with Speakup and Dectalk

Well, we are going to have to get a lot more feedback I'm afraid. I
am currently looking at the code and I do nothing which would affect
letter/number combinations or the "'" character. I do convert newline
characters into carage returns but that is the process speech command
for the DecTalk so should not cause the word run togethers you
mention. I also process speech after ,.!?:; but that's it and that is
only when a space follows one of those characters. What punctuation
mode are you running?

Does anyone else have any issues or observations on these things. I
need to be able to find the problem before I can fix anything.

I could try replacing those newlines with spaces but then you'd be
waiting longer for speech to begin processing which might mean longer
delays I don't know for sure.
