Speakup-and-Dosemu?

Last evening while running dosemu from speakup, I am noticing that cursor 
tracking ma not work?  Honestly it reminds me of the way Jaws reads a dos-box. 
Is their a setting I can change in either program?  Also, how can I get dosemu 
to reccognize all my drives?  It only sees a small corner of its own space and 
my home directory, but none of the mounted drives?  Thanks so much in advance
