Thanks Jason and Shaun,
I still think it has something to do with the ssl connection. Here is why!
I tried to connect to freedom chat both using my linux box and using my
windows and I got no route to host. I downloaded the regular freedomchat
for windows software and I tried to connect and failed. When I downloaded
the freedomchat software with the win ssl wrap enabled and installed on my
windows machine, the connection was a piece of cake. Now I am able to
connect using windows but I very much like to use my linux box instead. I
need some help in figuring out how to establish ssl connection on my linux
box. I tried man ssl and I got instructions very hard to understand. If
anyone has an experience in this area, I would really appreciate his/her
help.
Cheers,
Cris
