Progress on Speechd_up

Possible false alarm here.  I retried the sequence of
speech-dispature; modprobe speakup_sftsyn; speechd_up and all seemed
to work this time.  I'm wondering now if part of my problem was that
underline instead of dash in the speechd_up file name.  It did work
this time.  So more fun when I get back home from work:).
