setting punctuation level in Speakup-CVS

Hi all. I've been trying to set the punctuation level to all so that I 
can propperly read the code I am working on. However, I have not yet 
been able to have Speakup say all the punctuation when I am reading by 
line. The only way I have had it working is by reading the entire 
screen. I have played with all conceivable settings i.e., punc_all, 
punct, punc_level, and still no result. Does anyone know if I am doing 
something wrong here? Thanks!
