gpg test, and a question

Well, I've just become a newby at this stuff, but ...

Don't know what the subprocess error is all about.

It tells you that the signature could not be verified, because you
don't have my public key on your public key ring. Even so, you get the
S in your status bar, because even though gpg couldn't verify the
signature, it is telling you that this message is signed (in this case
by me).
