ALSA and Mike Right Chanel Bug

Hey, the other night, I noticed the same problem some one else
mentioned here on the list about the Mike staying on even though the
capture setting was switched to another device such as Line or CD.
One slight consolation however, is if one wants to record/capture the
Wave device, just turn on Wave like so:
amixer set Wave cap 80.  The Wave capture seems to be independent of
the general capture device.  This doesn't resolve the original problem
with the right chanel but...  I am excited to be able to record live
audio streams with ease though.

This is all with ALSA 1.0.3; wonder if the right chanel bug has been
reported yet.
