Installing speakup with software speech

Industrial strength cool!!!
It never occurred to me to press ^Z at the end of a telnet installation. 
I can't wait to try it out!
BTW,  something isn't kosher with the timezone displayed on your messages. 
It says Eastern Standard Time, which would be OK if you were in some parts 
of Indiana, but the offset is -400 which would be for Eastern Daylight 
Time.
