restoring alsa settings

 All you have to do is put the line:
 alsactl restore
 in your bootscripts. Preferably a bootscript that doesn't  get touched
 by the packaging system during upgrades. If you want you could put
 your own script in the boot process with just that one line in it
 and that should work.
