Bug in cvs version of Speakup

Hi guys.
Not sure if anyone has reported this one yet, but when I use an instant 
messenger program called tnt that is an emacs plugin sometimes when I 
switch from a console in to the console running emacs some characters 
are echoed in to the emacs console becuase I get a status message at the 
bottom of the screen telling me to type a message.
I believe it is sending the return character or something like that to 
the emacs console.
