using two sound cards

Keith,

Here is what happens on this SW 10.0 system:

Script started on Tue 21 Dec 2004 10:25:10 AM EST
root at hhs48:~# play -d /dev/dsp0 /usr/share/sounds/error.wav
sox: Can't open input file '': No such file or directory
root at hhs48:~# exit

Script done on Tue 21 Dec 2004 10:25:48 AM EST

The wav file does exist and plays fine without the option present.

Same error if I just specify /dev/dsp without the trailing zero, also.

I wonder what gives here?

Chuck
