I will just add a few more comments to the excellent ones that have
been posted here already. First of all, you seem to be confusing the
doubletalk pc with the doubletalk lt. The pc model is an internal
card, that fits into the isa slot of a desktop machine. The lt model
is an external one that works off the serial port. As for hard wiring
a serial port into your laptop's motherboard, this is as far as I know
impossible. However, my understanding is that you could get a pcmcia
serial port, and hook up a serial synth to your laptop that way. Hth.
