dosemu sound support not working

Hi all. I'm attempting to get sound working in Dosemu-1.2.1, and so far 
no luck. I currently have everything set to their defaults, and my card 
still isn't being emulated. And according to 
/usr/local/dosemu-1.2.1/doc/sound-usage.txt, I should leave everything 
set to the default in autoexec.bat and dosemu.conf. Anyone have any idea 
as to why emulation might not work? Thanks!
