reverting from Alsa?

Hi Jacob,
Actually, since I'm still a relative Linux newbie, I haven't gotten around to updating my kernel yet, so I'm still using the 2.4.222H from the Fedora Core installation. As for Dectalk, I somehow have two versions running now. The 4.61 version comes up when I use the Emacspeak speech server, but version 5 runs when I issue the "say" command.
