speakup - kernel compilation failure

Well, unless it is a patch hunk that fails other than your
architecture then there is no such thing as it doesn't matter.  In
this case your misc.h doesn't have the patch to the /dev/synth device
applied so that's probably one that failed.  On the other hand we may
not use that patch anymore in which case you'll have to put the line
in yourself.  If you can't figure out how to do that then you better
upgrade.
