OT: motherboards

after you work on a few boxes you'll start to learn how different 
connecters feel such as the difference between a dimm/simm slot, 
floppy and ide controler's, pci/agp slots, etc. The only problem is 
the connecters for say extra usb ports or front pannel audio.

The problem with putting lables next to connecters isn't that they 
would melt but that they would be too big. the connecters are usually 
extremely close together and labeled in extremely small print. the 
only thing I could see helping here other then sited help is an 
opticon.
