Well I have run x-windows and speech apps on 233Mhz machines with 128MB RAM, so I don't think its unreasonable that x + moz + dectalk should work on a 500Mhz machine with 256MB RAM. Also, a friend of mine has run dectalk on a 166Mhz machine with no problems. -- Doug
