MP3 player with bookmarks?

OK, I stand corrected.  I just remember earlier last year an issue
being raised about Bookshare's not implementing daisy completely or
correctly or something.  I just hope the developers of daisy players
can keep up with the emerging standard.  From my limitted vantage
point, it sounds like the standard is rapidly changing and wonder
about players' keeping up.  

I think it is exciting that Canada and Britain are going all the way
with daisy and yet I haven't heard word one from my regional library
as to when daisy would be wide use here in the US.  RFB makes their
stuff available in daisy but they told me I had to use a special
secret proprietary player from them to use their books.  They told me
supposedly that other players would not work with their materials.
Too bad, I'd say.
