audacity and speakup?

Hi,
Unfortunately not all people are enamoured with the command line.  Yes,
Gnome and KDE are resource intensive, but there are "lightweight" windows
managers out there like ICE/WM.  These provide Gnome/KDE compatibility with
significantly less resource requirements.
