Ok, like an idiot i've turned off my linux computer with out doing shutdown. My friend did this, and got a root prompt after his file system was shown to be bad. Assuming next time I try to boot into linux next time, and myne is found to be bad, is there anything like scan disk that can fix it? Note I'm runing red hat 9, and i don't want to reinstall.
