Do you have your doubletalk lt compiled in to the kernel and do you have it chosen as the default synth? also, if you put it in as the default when compiling the kernel, I can't remember whether or not case matters. If you are using speakup modularized I haven't done that yet, so can't say anything. -- Cheryl
