The leader in the UPS market is APC.
You can get a UPS at most Staple-business depoe, Grand and toy I believe
may have them and most big box stores also.
Now how much you pay will depend on how long you require the battry live to
last. If all you want is something to protect your system in the event of
a power outage and allow you to shut things down I would recommend the APC
series 500 UPS. This version has 3 smart port and 3 power serge ports and
will give you about 10/20 minutes of battery life in the event of a power
outage.
The last price I got which was the other week was $165.00 cdn.
