Help! Dosemu error

Yeah, except that it doesn't compile:

dosemu-1.1.4#make
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/dosemu-1.1.4/src'
make[1]:  No such file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/dosemu-1.1.4/src'

file or directory
make: *** [default] Error 127


Meanwhile, configure really had no problems except the following, which
doesn't seem as if it's the problem above:

configure: WARNING:
configure: WARNING: Rejecting system S-Lang with UTF-8 support. It is
incompatible with DOSEMU. Forcing use of the supplied S-Lang plugin.

Configure finished. Do 'make' to compile Dosemu.
