clearing up about packages

Sounds like you did the right thing with the RealPlayer RPM file.

trplayer is also available as an rpm file, so you would follow a similar
procudure.

You will also need to create a .mailcap (notice the initial dot) in your
home directory. This tells Linux what programs handle what kinds of
content.

All of this is available on the Speakup goodies site, which I usually
access by ftp, so I can't say whether you can also get there via http.
